The Familiar Face of Freedom | Familiar Faces Pt.1

We are drawn to people, experiences and lifestyle choices because they seem familiarity. As we become too familiar we can also lose a sense of value due to proximity. Is it possible to become too complacent with God because of His goodness? God's blessings can become so familiar that we loose the reverence and awe for the Lord. In Pt.1 we learn how to fight against becoming complacent Christians.

We often tend to drive on the fast lane of our emotions, reactions and thoughts. Not all of our decisions and actions honor God. The debt, shame and guilt  that covered humanity was larger than life, but redemption was on its way. A King was born to bring salvation to the world. At times in our life we identify with things that we would like to redo. We allow our identity to be wrapped around our past mistakes, failures or times we missed the mark. Jesus wipes the slate clean and identifies us as righteous by His sacrifice on the cross, by His Grace and Mercy. We are who God says we are.
